Brand identity for Soundtrack Your Brand

Soundtrack Your Brand was founded together with Spotify in 2013 to design a new streaming service entirely aimed at the needs of business users. It would be run as a separate company but still share some DNA with the Spotify brand.

Challenge “What does your brand sound like?” was one of the things we asked new customers. Their music taste was as diverse as the industries they worked in. From bike shops, to hamburger chains, to exclusive hotels. We wanted the new identity to somehow represent all of them.



Solution
The brand celebrates all sounds. It reminds you of all the small noises that exist around us, which we rarely think about. The brand makes witty use of sounds for words, onomatopoeia, to make the invisible visible. Print and stationery use materials that produce sound, such as bubble wrap and tear-off flaps. Textures and patterns resemble beats and rhythm.

The formula: If it sounds, it’s on brand.
The simple system is easy-to-understand for anyone who works with the brand. 










Concept for Soundtrack Your Brand’s first home
The fast-growing company made a big bang when it released its first product and soon needed a much bigger office. We moved before we had the chance to implement this concept.
